What happens during a session
Discussion
Talk about your pet’s history or about his/her progress since the last session.
Palpation
Palpation of the whole body to find any changes in temperature or quality of tissue in a area changes or anything that feels abnormal.
Gait Analysis
Analysis of the animal walking at different paces and possibly on different surfaces to spot any restrictions of movement or imbalance.
Testing
Testing of any joints highlighted during palpation and gait analysis.
Treatment
Treatment will be given via a wide range of techniques including myo-fascia release, joint mobilisation, craniosacral techniques, HVLA thrust amongst others.
Plan
Exercises might be given to strengthen or stretch some part of the body and rest days can also be advised. The next session will be planned.
